Meet the Team
Therese Schuler
Lt Col, USAF Ret.
Owner/Barn Manager
Therese has been involved with horses since she was a small child. She started riding around age seven and progressed through high school, earning many local Champion and Reserves in Hunter and Equitation divisions. After high school she entered Rochester Institute of Technology on a full ROTC scholoarship for Industrial Engineering. Therese was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force upon graduation. She spent the next 21 years serving in Texas, Germany, Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Alabama along with deployments in many locations. All the while she rode when she had access to horses and eventually purchased her own horse in 1998, Kalinka, a Holsteiner mare. Kalinka was shown in Germany and around the US in primarily jumper and dressage. After retiring in 2013, she and her husband purchased a 20 acre property which has become Lead Off Farm, LLC.
Jack Schuler
Therese's Better Half
Jack's involvement with horses started with supporting Therese in her dreams of riding and showing. He currently works full time, but helps out on the farm as much as possible. You can often see him mowing, dragging the arena, or other tractor related activities.
