Donnie Baseball LOF aka Matt* is our latest foal, born Jun 12, 2023. A bright chestnut with just the right amount of chrome to be noticed.
* (Named after my husband's favorite baseball player, Don Mattingly who played 1st base for the New York Yankees 1982-1995)
By international dressage stallion Don Quichot (Quite Easy I/ Ramiro Z/ Alme) out of our premium Holsteiner mare Zamboni Babe MMP (Ciceras Icewater/Calando I/Lord Incipit). This boy was born to compete! We are so pleased with him we've rebred Zami back to DQ for a 2024 foal. If he was a filly, she would stay with me.
Very friendly, wants to be the center of attention with people, loves being groomed and cuddled. He's got wonderful conformation, long legs, and a lovely head. With his floating trot and balanced canter, he will be a star in dressage; and with his genes, he should jump fantastic. His easy going personality makes him a dream to work with. Stands for the farrier, loads on the trailer, is perfect for the vet, and is just a pleasure to be around!
He was presented to the Holsteiner Verband and awarded Premium status! the judge commented on his outstanding conformation, rhythmical walk, and powerful canter.
He's weaned and ready to move into your heart and barn, or he can be boarded here to grow up.
